Sint Eustatius is one of the islands making up the Netherlands Antilles. It is in the northern, Leeward Islands portion of this territory, to the east of the Virgin Islands. The regional capital is Oranjestad. It is named after the legendary Catholic Saint Eustace. Statia has diving life like no other destination in the Caribbean. The warm water and the underwater volcanic fissures and canyons have given this area a diversified diving selection.

Saint Kitts and Nevis is located in the Leeward Islands. The capital city and government for the federated state is mainly on the larger island of Saint Kitts. The smaller state of Nevis lies about 3 km southeast of Saint Kitts. Historically the British dependency of Anguilla was also a part of this union, which was then known collectively as Saint Christopher-Nevis-Anguilla.

A long time ago in the southern Caribbean an undersea volcano erupted from the ocean’s floor. Spewing its lava, the volcano built an undersea mountain that grew higher and higher, eventually growing above the surface of the sea.
This was the beggining of the island now we called “Monserrat“.

Wherever you find a few people gathering together in Trinidad and Tobago, you have a party. It`s Carnival ! Carnival is in their soul, the the way they move, in their music.
Carnival comes from the Latin “carne-vale”. In Tinidat and Tobago, Carnival is officially the two days before Ash Wednesday-starting at approximately 4am on Monday morning. But unofficially Carnival starts in-or even before-October of the year before, when the masquerade bands launch their presentations for the season; the music for the season is launched on the radio stations; the gyms are full with people getting in shape for their skimpy costumes, and the parties start to build up to the big day.
