Baden is a spa town and medieval city in
Austria, 26 kilometers south of
Vienna, with a population of 25,207 (2005). Frequently, the name is given as
Baden bei Wien (Baden near Vienna); this name, however, is not official, but can be used to distinguish it from other cities of the same name such as Baden-Baden or Baden,
Switzerland. Baden may be reached by the
Sudautobahn (A2) and is linked with the Sudbahn rail with a train station and the
Badener Bahn.

The Hundertwasser House Vienna (German Hundertwasser haus Wien) is an apartment house in Vienna,
Austria, designed by Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. His born name was Friedensreich Stowasser and he was born on 15 December 1928. He was an Austrian painter, architect and sculptor.
The Hundertwasser House was built between 1983 and 1986. The architects are Prof. Joseph Krawina and Peter Pelikan and the painter is Friedrich Stowasser. Deviating from the old conventions of city architecture, the house is unique. Facing Hundertwasser House you find out another Vienna.
