International 77th motor-show and accessoaries - 8th - 18th March Geneva

With its first show in 1905, the Geneva Auto Show has more than 100 years of history. Its location in Switzerland represents neutral ground for automakers from around the world to show off new models and concepts. Almost all motor combustion models have been featured in the show - ranging from benzene to steam, with many exotic and super cars stealing the spotlights throughout the 20th century. Prototypes, new equipment, technical breakthroughs, and international partnerships as well as political and social debates are all landmarks of this international exhibition. The Geneva show isn’t focused on any one particular area but covers the entire automotive industry, with production cars, design previews, and accessories.

Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum

Frank Gehry’s Weisman Art Museum is a four-story structure housing approximately 11,000 square feet of gallery space. A precursor to the architect’s more famous Disney Hall and Guggenheim Bilbao, the Weisman is made of brushed stainless steel and terra-cotta colored brick. The building, on the campus of University of Minnesota, is dramatically sited on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River.

Mall of America is the most visited shopping mall in the world with more than 40 million visitors annually. Mall of America has a gross area of 390,000 m², with 230,000 m² available as retail space. Two nearly identical seven story parking ramps on east and west sides provide approximately 13,000 parking spaces. Parking lots on the north and south of the building, along with nearby overflow parking, bring the total number of spaces up to approximately 20,000. Mall of America, opened in August 1992, is the largest mall in the United States, covering 31 hectares.

Zheravna - attractive tourist destination in Bulgaria

The village has 330 houses and 550 inhabitant. It is an architectural and ethnographic reserve of over 150 houses, a workshop for church candles, a small school, a convent, a church, 8 drinking-fountains, inns and shops, preserved from the time of the National Revival period. Some of them are over 300 years. Every of them is unique monument to the culture,created from unknown master. The village originated between the 12th-14th century. In the 17th-18th century it gained in wealth mostly due to the development of handcrafts, stock-breeding and trade. At that time the typical Zheravna wooden house took shape. Houses, churches, schools and other buildings have been preserved and turned into museums. Zheravna is the birthplace of Yordan Yovkov, an outstanding Bulgarian writer, whose house is now a museum.
