Established in 1992, the bookstore El Pendulo in Mexico City, Mexico is at once bar, cafe and bookstore. This urban spot is bright, spacious, huge, gloriously plant-filled and air conditioning, which makes it a wonderful literary escape on a hot Mexican day. In Spanish, El Pendulo is referred to as a “cafebreria”, a portmanteau word combining cafe and bookshop. El Pendulo has long been known as one of the best ways to beat the heat in the largest city in the world.

Founded by the Spanish in the early 16th century, Guanajuato is located on 2,008 m above sea level. The city of Guanajuato is a cultural capital of the Bajio region in central Mexico, and is considered as one of the most charming destinations in the nation. It’s a lovely, colonial city that looks like old Europe. Located about a five-hour drive northwest of Mexico City, this is a picturesque town of pleasant little plazas, cobblestone streets lined with stairs and houses of pastel-colored facades and balconies trimmed with iron work, and flower-filled window boxes.

Located near the fishing village of Yelapa in tropical
Mexico, “V-Houses” is a rustic-modern hotel designed by Heinz Legler. This three tower-houses have a particular structure, raising from a small concrete foundation. The V Houses are made out of steel, plywood and red corrugated iron roofs. The designer started this project as his personal hideaway, but it ended up construction a hotel in a 5 acre area, with infinity pool, spa, restaurants, yoga hut and 8 guest rooms.

The Nomadic Museum is a temporary structure used to house the “Ashes and Snow” photography and film exhibition by Gregory Colbert which travels the world photographing encounters between humans and large animals. Designed by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban and engineers Buro Happold, the museum is made entirely from reusable materials. Actually this 45,000-square-foot mobile museum was designed to be disassembled and reconfigured to house the traveling exhibit.

Located in the city of Nagoya in central Japan, visitors should definitely put this museum on their list of things to do in Nagoya. This is a rather modern looking building located in the picturesque greenery Shirakawa Park in the heart of the city. Housed in a modern building designed by one of the leading Japanese architects - Kisho Kurokawa, Nagoya’s art museum is focused on modern artists of the local Ise Bay area. Opened in 1988, the museum also features works by Ecole de Paris and Mexican Renaissance artists.

The Don CeSar Beach Resort faces the Disparity of Mexico’s educator smooth dunes in St. Pete Beach, Fla. The “Sound Castle” as it is celebrated locally, is set one knot from Weenie Hurley Park. Originally built in 1960 and recently perfectly restored, Anticavilla nestles in a beautiful tropical garden in the centre of Cuernavaca, Mexico, known as The City of Eternal Spring. This charming cosy hotel offers an inviting pool, an Italian restaurant and a spa center. The classic exterior presented by pretty balconies with wrought-iron railings contrasted the minimalist and modern design inside.

Scientist name: Diaethria species. This is one of most exotic butterflies that are considered natural treasures of the sub-tropical Amazon rainforest. The Diaethria species are known as the 88 butterfly because many have the number 88 on their underside wings. A member of the Callicorini family, the Diaethria genus is the third most diverse genus.
