Today the San Francisco‘s Mission District is well known for its vibrant latino culture, colourful murals, and hip artistic spirit. The Mission is now experiecing the second coming with a new crop of restaurants, boutique and more. The best place to stay there is the 21-room Inn San Francisco (doubles from $175), set in an 1872 mansion, brims with authentic Victorian details—ornate woodwork; marble fireplaces; featherbeds—minus the chintz (not a weathered doily in sight). Located in Almere, Netherlands, the library offers a unique and contemporary design. You would notice various spaces allotted to various categories, such as a different space for health, or youth, and even travel. The overall design scope including different facilities like: counters, internet areas, a read cafe, study areas and a multimedia department. Designed by Concrete Architectural Associates, the library takes its inspiration more from today’s retail concepts than yesterday’s library institutions.

Some of the most amazing suspension bridges in the world

Juscelino Kubitschek Bridge, Brazil
Asymmetric and modernistic bridge extends over Lake Paranoia, Brasilia. The design of the bridge consists of three 61 meter asymmetric arches and steel cables supporting structure and was created by Brazilian architect Alexandre Chan, from Rio de Janeiro. The entire structure has a total length of 1,200 m. Opened on December 15, 2002 it was completed at a cost of US$56.8 million. Named after a beloved former president Zhuselino Kubichek de Oliveira, the scenic view of and from the bridge makes for an amazing experience.

The Best Cities for Street Art

Today there is a strong current of activism and subversion in urban art. Street art become very powerful platform for reaching the public, and frequent themes include adbusting, subvertising and other culture jamming, the abolishment of private property and reclaiming the streets. Wayfaring is proud to presents some of the best street art cities in the world! New York City, Brooklyn: While many street artists have migrated in recent years from Williamsburg to less-trammeled Brooklyn neighborhoods (Bushwick is the latest open-air gallery), swaths of art still adorn the streets and alleys of “Billyburg.” Prime viewing areas include North 6th Street (around Berry Street and Wythe Avenue), Ainslie Street (just east of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway), and Roebling Street—where, as of this writing, a towering radio-controlled giraffe by artist Nick Walker decorates a wall just south of Metropolitan Avenue.

One Urban World Festival

One Urban World Festival is held in Cartagena, Spain. Each year the streets of Cartagena are decorated and most of the squares swarm with djs, beatmakers, rap musicians, hippsters and graffatti artists, all part of One Urban Festival. In addition to this year program artists Ross, Suso33, Pixel Panxo, or M Kraser Mati, among others, have already begun work, cans in hand, to translate his works in different parts of the old town of Cartagena as the Callejon de la Soledad, next to Teatro Romano or windlass and around Monte Sacro.

AOL Arena
Located in Hamburg, Germany, it is the home ground of Hamburger SV. Originally built in 1925, it has been destroyed completely during the Second World War and was again-established in 1953. In 1998 it was again totally renovated with about € 90-100 million investments. It has capacity of 57, 000 seats (all covered) and field’ dimensions are105 m x 68 m. The new AOL Stadium belongs to the European-wide most beautiful and most modern stadiums. A stadium tour is app. 90 minutes and costs €5.00.

Pilsen, is a city in western Bohemia in the Czech Republic. It is the capital of the Plzen Region and the fourth most populous city in the Czech Republic. The eventful history of the city can be seen during the sightseeing of many interesting buildings. The historical city centre, is dominated by the slim tower of the Gothic St. Bartholomew Cathedral. With its height of 102,26 m (335 feet), this tower is the highest church spire in Bohemia.
