The British Virgin Islands is a British overseas territory, located in the
Caribbean to the east of
Puerto Rico. The islands make up part of the Virgin Islands archipelago.
The British Virgin Islands consist of the main islands of
Tortola,
Virgin Gorda,
Anegada and
Jost Van Dyke, along with over 50 other smaller islands and cays. Around 15 of the islands are inhabited. The largest island, Tortola, is approximately 19 km long and 5 km wide. The islands have a total population of about 22,000. Road Town, the capital, is situated on Tortola.The National motto is “Vigilate” which means “Be Watchful”.

The United States Virgin Islands are a group of islands in the
Caribbean that are an insular area of the
United States. The islands are geographically part of the Virgin Islands and are located in the
Leeward Islands of the
Lesser Antilles. The U.S. Virgin Islands consist of the four main islands of
St. Thomas,
St. John,
St. Croix, and
Water Island, and many smaller islands. It is the only part of the United States where traffic drives on the left. The total land area of the territory is 346.36 square km.

Sint Eustatius is one of the islands making up the
Netherlands Antilles. It is in the northern,
Leeward Islands portion of this territory, to the east of the
Virgin Islands. The regional capital is
Oranjestad. It is named after the legendary
Catholic Saint Eustace.
Statia has diving life like no other destination in the
Caribbean. The
warm water and the underwater
volcanic fissures and
canyons have given this area a diversified
diving selection.
