This great success in shark protection is the result of a two and half years campaign leaded by Longitude 181 Nature, with the help of local organisations. The petition launched in 2002 was signed by more than 40 000 people from all over the world. At least, the ministers did accept to hear all of us, claiming for shark conservation measures.
