Rhodes lies in the Mediterranean Sea and is the third largest of the Greek islands. It is one of the most visited islands in Greece ( after Crete), with about one million tourists annually. There are many reasons why Rhodes is one of the most popular island in the Mediterranean: the natural surroundings crystal clear seas, many parks and recreational facilities, the bright sun and the warm hospitality of the islanders themselves. Palma_skyline

Majorca (Mallorca in Spanish) is the most popular of Spain’s Mediterranean islands, drawing millions of visitors each year. About 209km from Barcelona and 145km from Valencia, Majorca has a coastline 500km long. Palma comes as a surprise to many people - it is stylish, sophisticated, intimate yet bursting with life. Half of Mallorca’s population live here, enjoying the island’s best restaurants, shops and nightlife as well as a thriving arts scene and a lively cafe society. The cathedral, the Palace of Almudaina, the fish exchange, and Plaza Mayor are just some of the places where visitors must stop. Fishing boats, pine groves and palm trees complement the most beautiful monuments. The capital of the island of Majorca, famous for its beaches and beautiful sea, has a beautiful historic quarter, deeply marked by history. The beautiful island is an explorer’s paradise in its exterior, although horribly overbuilt along certain coastal regions.

St Tropez - exclusive and famous resort in the south of France

Published by Asya in Europe, France, Relaxing, Resorts, Romantic, Ships, Shopping

sttropez
The seaside resort town Saint Tropez, France, is still very popular with the tourists, although the jet set and the in-crowd have long since left it behind. Set on the lovely blue water of the Bay of Saint-Tropez, this modern version of a medieval town is most popular for the line of yachts along the quay, and the facing line of terrace cafes, divided by a parade of strolling tourists and slow cruising expensive cars. A little fishing village that grew up around a port founded by the Greeks of Marseille, which was destroyed by the Saracens in 739 and finally fortified in the late Middle Ages. Its sole distinction from the myriad other fishing villages along this coast was its inaccessibility. This amazing place is home to stunning beaches, a relaxing atmosphere and ample recreational opportunities.

RIMINI - “Ibiza of the Adriatic”

Published by Asya in Cultural, Europe, Hotels, Italy, Monuments, Relaxing, Resorts, Restaurants, Swimming

Nightlife-Rimini
Rimini is a city of art and the capital of the province, and a visit is worthwhile to its
monuments, which are the living expression of its past glory as a Roman outpost and stronghold, to later become the capital of the Malatesta Seigniory, who left a legacy of some of the most significant monuments in the history of art, such as the Malatesta Temple, an emblem of the Renaissance. Birthplace of Federico Fellini, Rimini is Europe’s largest seaside resort. With it comes the good and the bad, the tasteful and the down right brash. It has a large commercial club culture – amounting to around 150 clubs at the last count, but thankfully it also has a fine old town. The water is perfect with a soft and velvety shore that slopes gently into the shallows. The sun is hot, but not too hot for comfort. Warmth is everywhere, the warmth of people of all ages and from all countries, come to meet other people at Rimini.
