Mohammed Al Habbai, CEO of Dubailand, a member of Tatweer officially announced the 180,000 sq ft Dubailand headquarters is now open to public, providing a preview of the architectural and landscape marvels at the region’s largest tourism and entertainment project.

“The headquarters will set new benchmarks for such sales offices in the region in providing investors and visitors with a glimpse of the project’s offerings.”
Situated on the Dubailand roundabout on Emirates Road, the headquarters, now open to the public, is uniquely designed as a mini Dubailand, featuring a 3,200 sq ft scale model of the entire development.

The exhibition area of the headquarters will feature a host of interactive features, both audio and visual. A snow dome will delight visitors with its virtual ice cracks. Adding to its attraction is a 35 metre high motorbike positioned at the top of the sales centre, a 220 m roller coaster, a man made volcano, miniature space shuttle and a racing car. Two Bengal tigers, housed in a dedicated secure enclosure, will add to visitors’ excitement to the centre.

Conceived as the largest destination for family-oriented, tourism and entertainment in the Middle East, Dubailand will have a number of theme parks, including one of the largest water parks in the world.

Visitors to the headquarters will be able to see for themselves the progress being made towards delivering a unique project that will significantly add to Dubai’s positioning as a multi cultural tourist haven,” said Al Habbai.

Dubailand, situated alongside the Emirates Road, will cover an area of three billion square feet. It will feature several attractions catering to the entire family. These include the ‘The Restless Planet’, a dinosaur theme park being developed in cooperation with the Natural History Museum in the UK; a Sports City, featuring large state-of-the-art stadiums; the Great Dubai Wheel; the Islamic Culture and Science World; the Mall of Arabia, set to become one of the largest shopping centers in the world and the Tiger Woods Dubai.

You could fit seven Yankee stadiums inside Mall of America itself, Mall spokesman Daniel Jasper says. They are also a lot of amenities that people find in cities, like a post office, our own police station. There is a university, a high school, a clinic and the Chapel of Love. More than 4500 couples have been married in the Chapel of Love since it opened. There can do the full service wedding, which is up to 70 guests. So they can do a larger wedding, with the walk down the aisle, the flower girls. We provide services for guest books, programs, ushers if they want them, custom music. There are more than 350 special events every year, whether that’s rock stars or authors or famous chefs or TV stars, or movie stars, all making appearances here. All of these events are free and open to the public. And the public comes by the millions. And they come from all over the world. Mall of America is now one of the nation’s top tourist attractions.

During the winter months, when temperatures in Minneapolis rarely climb about freezing, it remains warm inside the mall, even without a heating system. Can you imagine a building this large, in the state of Minnesota, is not heated, even in January and February? They heat the mall through our skylights and through body heat of all of our customers and light bulbs. Believe it or not! There are not a central furnace-they recycle tons and tons of material. A lot of food waste is recycled and actually shipped to a local hog farm to feed his stock. They recycle even our cooking grease. It’s made into bio-diesel and it’s used in special trucks. Over there recycle enough fuel every month to fill a truck and let it drive from New York to Los Angeles.

As befits the nation’s largest shopping center, Mall of America is also home to America’s largest indoor amusement park. There are over 30 rides and attractions- are the large-scale roller coasters, a spinning roller coaster called, ‘Timberland Twister, kiddy rides. So, the moms come and go shopping and the kids can go on rides.

The Park at MOA is an indoor theme park in the center of the mall. It’s seven acres of indoor excitement, with over 30 thrilling rides and attractions, unique shops, games to test your skills, fun-filled entertainment and many places to dine or simply grab a treat. As if all the screaming stores weren’t enough over-stimulation, there’s a seven-acre theme park in the middle, the largest indoor theme park in the nation. The theme park, Camp Snoopy I think it’s called, has 26 rides including a roller-coaster and a water-flume, a 6,000-square-foot LegoLand play area, a two-story miniature golf course and giant balloons of Peanuts characters, including Snoopy. The park adds really a unique element to the Mall of America.

Love is in bloom at Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn. The Park in Bloomflower show has transformed The Park at Mall of America into a lover’s lane between Feb. 9-19. The show features more than 3,000 spring flowering plants, 15,000 cut flowers and includes a 15-foot tall topiary entrance to welcome all guests.

There’s something fishy at the mall: Underwater Adventures Aquarium, the world’s largest underground aquarium. There are 47 different species of sharks here alone, as well as 4500 animals. There are quite a few schools from the area that come in with biology programs and aquatics programs. A lot of the students really love it.There is something for everyone. Both fascinated and disgusted, the people spent an hour walking completely around the mall, and in a daze, staggered they leaved.
