Today in Chicago art’s admirers can visit new Hyde Park Art Center, which did not have a proper home since opening in 1939. The architect Dong Garofalo, a pioneer in digital design gave the Hyde Park Art Center a long-term lease on an old Army warehouse. The smart architect kept the building’s shape but changed the interior significantly.
