Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts celebrated the opening of its 50th hotel — the Shangri-La Hotel, Guangzhou. More than 400 VIP guests gathered to commemorate the landmark occasion. The hotel is located adjacent to the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre,China. The 704-room hotel offers the largest guestrooms in the city with a minimum size of 452 square feet and up to 3,283 square feet for suites. At 36 floors it is Guangzhou’s tallest property.The hotel combines spectacular views of the Pearl River with elegant landscaped gardens, providing an urban oasis for guests’ comfort and pleasure while being the new event and dining destination of Guangzhou.
