Biala Riaka Traditional Bulgarian Resort Complex
Here i want to share with You one very interesting motel looking resort complex I visited recently after my going home trip from Varna to Haskovo, Bulgaria. It’s name is “Biala Riaka” (Bulgarian : Бяла Ряка), which in bulgarian means White River. Maybe it is called on the river which passes near and at the time i was there is was dry out. It is located near village of Gyulyovitza, Burgas municipalty, at 15km. of Sunny Beach and town of Nesebar, into the foots of Stara Planina mountain and if you want to go to the sea it’s only 10km far. The air there was bouquet of mountain and sea breezes. The resort holds an amazing atmosphere, colorful gardens, kids place, museum with unique masterpieces f bulgarian art, way of living and cultural heritage, along with the rich attraction program, variety of traditional bulgarian and evropean meals, cosy hotel part and professional service will for sure make your visit in this place one Unforgetable expirience.

Zheravna - attractive tourist destination in Bulgaria

Zheravna house-museum
The village has 330 houses and 550 inhabitant. The average temperature of a year is 11 C. Zheravna is an architectural and ethnographic reserve of over 150 houses, a workshop for church candles, a small school, a convent, a church, 8 drinking-fountains, inns and shops, preserved from the time of the National Revival period. Some of them are over 300 years. Every of them is unique monument to the culture,created from unknown master. The village originated between the 12th-14th century. In the 17th-18th century it gained in wealth mostly due to the development of handcrafts, stock-breeding and trade. At that time the typical Zheravna wooden house took shape.Houses, churches, schools and other buildings have been preserved and turned into museums. Zheravna is the birthplace of Yordan Yovkov, an outstanding Bulgarian writer, whose house is now a museum.

Etura Open-air ethnographic Museum

Etura Open-air ethnographic Museum Etura is the first museum of the sort in Bulgaria. The buildings of this unique museum started in 1963 and is opened in 1964, but his building extending to 1976. Museum is located in northern slopes of Balkan mountains,5km from the centre of Gabrovo. It is occupied an area of 60decares. The idea appurtenance by Lazar Donkov.

The museum covers area of 7 hectares from witch is located 50 objects-technical equipments for water : traditional Bulgarian interior of the houses which craft workshop; objects whit public significance. The exhibition shows live demonstrations of the folklore to Bulgaria, as the age-old grafts, traditional cuisine and the costumes of the citizens of Gabrovo.
