It is the largest airport in the southern part of the country, and serves as the operational base for China Southern Airlines. The Hong Kong International Airport was named the world’s best for the seventh-year in an annual survey of passengers, with Asian airports dominating the top positions in the list.Â
Hong Kong International Airport is the fifth busiest in the world; it sees an average of 800 aircraft take-offs and landings every day. The airport covers 12.48km² of reclaimed land between the two islands of Chek Lap Kok and Lam Chau.
The Airport is judge on factors like shopping, dining, staff courtesy, baggage delivery and wait-times at security.
All car park functions and procedures, including all back-office and interfaced third-party equipment may be accessed and managed from the central control room.
Pearl of the Orient, Paris of the East. For a century and a half Shanghai was the wildest, wealthiest, flashiest city in Asia—the rival of any world capital. Western visitors were captivated by the crowded, chaotic, yet thoroughly cosmopolitan city. Foreign powers carved out concession zones featuring their own cafes, clubs, police forces, and legions of prostitutes.
Everything seemed so different. China crowded it was, and so hot. There were lots of people everywhere, sleeping on the streets. Apartments were so small and basic. Everything was so dark, so dank.
But today the city is unlike any in the world. Travelers from around the globe poured in, creating a uniquely international place, with newspapers and performances in spectacular art deco theaters in a dozen languages. Splendid colonial architecture rose along a riverfront called the Bund that contrasted delightfully with traditional tile-roofed Chinese dwellings, creating a unique fusion of East and West. Food, fashion, and music blended in a similar spirit.
It’s got a great vibe and great music. Ten years ago, Shanghai was a completely different place and none of what you see now existed. The city used to be the only spark of creativity, with a basement that had the only alternative art and music in the city. The place has changed.
There’s a lot of great places to explore in Shanghai like very cool art districts and a lot of great designer boutiques, pottery shops, and other creative shops. I also like the Shanghai Art Museum, which has this fantastic setting along the old racing track, the former British Jockey Club. Green tea is the way to go—and a lot of wine.
Sevva is a rooftop restaurant/club on the 25-th floor penthouse of the Prince’s Building in Hong Kong with a breathtaking views of the city harbor. The native Calvin Taso says ‘ We Chinese eat all the time. Nibbles, snacks, power breakfasts, late breakfasts, lunch tea, drinks.’In my opinion Sevva is a real social hub with unique interior and vast establishment, giving its several restaurants and bars a relaxed elegance. Sevva offers the Taste bar for drinks, live music and tapas. The bars clear acrylic klismos chairs, vintage finds, have jewel-toned pony skin upholstery for punch. Moroccan style cushions, covered in equally vibrant skills, from a banquette that stretches 30 feet. Old bank chairs are upholstered in tufted baby blue silk, and a back-to-back sofa had its oak legs hand carved and gold-flecked in London. I would say ‘It costs an arm and a leg’.
For ultimate power lunch, there is the Bank Siderestaurant adorned with images and magnificent banks. The dinning room’s custom furnishings include a stained-oak table and benches and a wool rug. High wall are filled with some of the most coveted pieces of Modern Art featuring works from world renowned photographer Candida Hoffer.
The best place for a relaxed drink is the long and narrow Lounge with its live garden wall. Casually elegant meals can be enjoyed under the vaulted ceiling of the Harbor Side restaurant. The owner of Sevva is Bonnie Gokson, whose reputation in the world of branding and fashion has helped Sevva gain lots of attention.
Gokson loves art and drama, so it is no wonder she chose Tsao & McKown Architects to transform the 1960s mixed-use Prince’s Building space into the dramatic Sevva environment.
Fresh vertical gardens energizes the spirit of the Lounge area. The light streaming from the floor to ceilings windows complement the soft colors of the furnishing. The music selection harmonize more and more the lounge. This is just a spot to savour a good life…
Located in the center of the Old City of Shanghai, the Yuyuan Garden is considered as one of the four most exceptional gardens inChina. Built in traditional Chinese style with numerous rock and tree garden areas, ponds, dragon-lined walls.
During the Opium War of the 19th century, Yuyuan Garden was severely damaged. Today, much of the original garden, right up to Cheng Huang Miao in the south, is formed as part of the Yuyuan Bazaar shopping district. There is a large food court in Yuyuan Bazaar where you can find all the Shanghainese hawker food. Five spices nuts, roasted chestnuts, cakes…
The famous scenic spots of the garden include the Wall of Cloud Piercing Dragon, Spring Transforming Hall, Yu Linglong (Jade Exquisite), Moon Appreciating Pavilion, Ancient Performance Stage, Grand Rockery.
It is not clear how closely the gardens today resemble its earlier versions, but it is one of the most wonderful and superb attractions to visit in Shanghai.
Hainan Island is often called the Chinese Hawaii, and it is the only tropical beach destination in China. It puts its arms round the South China Sea and the Gulf of Tonkin, about a 90-minute flight southwest of Hong Kong. The island is a paradise, he sea is a pale, minty hue and empty of people, the sand gleaming white!
After Hainan separated from Guangdong to become its own province in 1988, a development boom was started by a bust that left many building projects on the island half-finished. In the recent years, Hainan has welcomed back investors and become a fashionable spot for Russian tourists. The picture shows a dinner at the Resort Horizon in Yalong Bay.
The island also has a reputation as a surfer’s paradise. Between April and September, waves tend to come from the south, while October to March brings a northeastern winter swell.
These ingredients Star anise and coffee beans are used for spa treatments at many hotels.
Despite rapid development on Hainan, stretches of rice paddies and green, mist-covered mountain slopes remain. The warm, humid climate makes the island a bounty of tropical crops.
Chongquing is large region in China comprising 30 million inhabitants and more than 3,000 years of history. Chongqing, often called “mountain city†for its majestic natural features and geography, develop a world-class library.
The library structure has a concert hall, gallery space, conference facilities, restaurant, and a hotel for visiting scholars.
The building is covered almost entirely in glass, providing transparency for the functions inside and reinforcing the notion that knowledge and ideas must be shared.
The building is organized around a central courtyard form, which is a motif found throughout Chinese architectural tradition. This courtyard, however, is formed one level below the street and is an open-air landscaped forest, providing a green oasis in the middle of one of China’s fastest growing cities.
Shanxi is a province in the northern part of China. Shanxi borders Hebei to the east, Henan to the south, Shaanxi to the west, and Inner Mongolia to the north. The capital of the province is Taiyuan. Shanxi is located on a plateau, and a series of valleys in the center through which the Fen River runs.
The Twin Pagodas in Taiyuan are remnants of Shanxi’s ancient past.
Shanxi Province has sections of the Great Wall that you won’t find. The transport infrastructure in Shaanxi is very developed. There are many important national highways and railways that connect the province with neighboring provinces.
W Hotel is one of the boutique hotels in the world from the boutique ”chain” W, located in West Kowloon, the hub of the buzzing financial district of Hong Kong. The architecture of the hotel brings a large dose of New York style to the cosmopolitan Asian capital.
West Kowloon is area on the commercial waterfront, so instead of luxury yachts, you can also noticed the large freight and cargo ships.
The hotel includes a spectacular rooftop pool, featuring a fantastic mega-scale mosaic of butterflies. The pool look out over the whole island – breathtaking view.

Hong Kong is a trading megapolis located on China's south coast on the Pearl River Delta. The city become a dependent territory of the United Kingdom in 1842.
Â
The city is one of the world's leading financial capitals and a major business hub. There east meets west and reflected in its cuisine, cinema, music and traditions. It has a population of 6,9 million people.
Â
With colonial-era Hong Kong serving as a historic and gritty backdrop. Fashionable restaurants, including a private supper club, arrived. The printing presses began moving out, and their spaces were soon filled with clothing boutiques, design shops and trendy bars. A mix of design shops has fueled the style offensive.
Â
If you look at every corner, there are still the two steps of stone leading up to the entrance. You still see the old Hong Kong, with Grandpa and Grandma, and people hanging clothes outside.
Â
At night, the formerly desolate street now comes alive with young partygoers. The mixture of sublime modern architecture, great food, nonstop nightlife and amazing views makes Hong Kong a great weekend destination.
The white-headed langur is one of the many endangered species of primates in Asia. Such an animal can be found in Guangxi region in southern China. Langurs are famous for their vegetarian way of eating- leaves and fruits.
Â
During the 1980s, the langurs lived in 16 areas of Guangxi. By the late 1990s, they had disappeared from the three areas. This is the Nongguan Nature Reserve, where the langurs’ forest habitat grows on steep mountain faces as well as in the valleys in between.
Â
White-headed langurs are born canary yellow.Female langurs can give birth once every two years. After a six-month pregnancy, a mother breast-feeds the baby for one year. Several weeks after birth, a langur’s yellow fur begins to fade and is gradually replaced by dark black fur, except for the head and tail.

The red steel bench runs for half a kilometre through the park in Qinhuangdao, the Tanghe River Park, China. With a background of natural vegetation, is a “red ribbon†spanning five hundred meters, which integrates the functions of lighting, seating, environmental interpretation, and orientation.
Â
While preserving as much of the natural river corridor as possible during the process of urbanization, this project demonstrates how a minimal design solution can achieve a dramatic improvement to the landscape.
Â
The site is a linear river corridor, with a total area of about 20 hectares. The site was covered with lush and diverse native vegetation that provides diverse habitats for various species. Located at the edge of a beach city, the site was a garbage dumping site with deserted slums and irrigation facilities such as ditches and water towers that were built for farming years ago.
Â
The natural river corridor was likely to be replaced with hard pavement and ornamental flower beds unless the new red ribbon design was implemented. Four pavilions in the shape of clouds are distributed along the ribbon, which provide protection from the weather, meeting opportunities, and visual focal points.
Beijing night life is really interesting and a lot of fun. While partying there, you will get across from private dinner parties, alcohol-soaked karaoke bars to lavish nightclubs.
Today the city is flooded by entertainment businessmen, foreign students and development driven by the Olympic Games. All of them wanna party!
Beijing’s appetite for club culture and techno beats is in part fueled by the information speed on the Internet. The Chinese are discovering the last 40 years of pop music, not only funky, house beats, but classic, jazz, rock, salsa, reggae, punk.
But a bounty of the clubs is too expensive to get inside. Like Suzie Wong’s can go for $570. Inside the clubs those willing to pay hundreds of dollars to be seated at a table are separated from the crowd with velvet ropes.

The Great Wall Kempinski is an amazing hotel located in one hour by car from downtown Beijing and thirty minutes from the Great Wall at Badaling. The hotel is one of a kind in the whole world, because of its private collection of contemporary architecture designed by 12 Asian architects.
The Great Wall is much more a museum of avant-guard architecture, than a hotel. It’s sitted in the Shuiguan Valley and has a private access to an unrehabilitated port of Great Wall. The place has developed in two separate phases: a Walnut Valley with eleven villas in 2002, and the almost new one, which is in collaboration with Kempinski with thirty-one new villas.
Each villa has six bedrooms, decorated with elegant colours and warm atmosphere. The place also offers a courtyard reastaurant, a conference centre, a terrace & lounge, fitness centre, art gallery & cinema, library.
