The abyss cave Devil’s throat is situated 1,3 km to the north of the village Trigrad, Bulgaria. The waters of Trigrad River through a succession of waterfalls, the highest of witch is 42m, flow into the biggest, well laid out cave hall of Devil’s throat. The thundering waterfalls succeed each other and put to the test the courage of everyone who dares to enter this fearful world. The legend says that here exactly Orpheus went down into the underground kingdom of Hades to search for his beloved Eurydice.

Wookey Hole is 2 miles from the beautiful medieval city of Wells and 20 miles from Bristol. The village of Wookey Hole is dominated by the Wookey Hole Caves tourist site which has show caves, a paper mill and a museum. The village has shops, pubs, restaurants, hotels and a campsite. Glencot House is a grade II listed country house dating from 1887, by a Mr George and Harold Peto, for WS Hodgkinson. A report of the building appeared in “The Building News”, May 13, 1887 and the architects drawing was exhibited at the Royal Academy, and is now at RIBA.

Batu Caves is one of
Malaysia’s most famous tourist destinations. Every year hundreds of thousands of Hindu devotees congregate here for the colourful
Thaipusam festival.
The first cave temple was established in 1891, and wooden steps up to the Temple Cave were built in 1920. Of the various cave temples that comprise the site, the largest and best known is the
Temple or Cathedral Cave, so named because it houses several Hindu shrines beneath its 100 m vaulted ceiling. To reach it one has to climb 272 steps, a feat performed by many Hindus on the way to the caves to offer prayers to their revered deities.
