Tortilis Camp is located just outside the Amboseli National Park in the shade of a dense natural forest of Acacia Tortilis, from which it takes its name. The camp is one of the top luxury tented camps in East Africa, offering  unmatched views over the game filled Amboseli plain at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Early European explorers met derision and disbelief when they reported a snow-capped mountain close to the equator - Mount Kilimanjaro. Views from the camp seem endless across these plains of Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru in Tanzania.
