At 225,000 square feet, the Sfmoma is one of the largest North American buildings devoted to modern art. The museum opened in 1935 under founding director Dr. Grace Morley as the San Francisco Museum of Art, solely to 20th-century contemporary art.

National Library of Minsk – one architectural diamond

The National Library of Belarus, Minsk
is a curious structure that was just completed in 2006. The library is located in new 72 meter tall building in Minsk. It has 22 floors. There are a number of biblical quotations inscribed on the building’s facade, in Belorussian, Russian, English and Arabic, amongst others.

Sultan Abdul Samad Building

Prior to the building of the Petronas Twin Towers, the Sultan Abdul Samad building has long been a famous landmark for Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur. Unique moorish-style design, this building is designed by British architect A.C Norman. The building once served as the administrative offices for the government during the British administration, but now it is home to the Supreme and High Courts. This is the most photographed building in the city.
