Displayed on bubble-shaped stands, Galeria Melissa’s hip, gaudily-colored prime sellers—plastic shoes made in collaboration with design stars like Karim Rashid—look like art objects from outer space. The shop aims to be Sao Paulo’s “go to” place for cutting edge styles and ideas. Housed in a space created by Muti Randolph, the architect behind the electronic music temple D-Edge’s retro-futuristic beat box design, Galeria Melissa updates itself every three months by renewing the prints and graphics on its walls, a jungle of striking tints and bold shapes.

The Amazon Riverside Hotel has arranged hammocks at the dock for guests keen on doing nothing but watching the river flow.

Every lodge tries to offer something its competitors do not. The Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge offers tours of the nearby archipelago.

The villa is located in Carambo, a region at the foot of thousand feet high Mantiqueira Mountain on the border of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The villa stands alone at the hill, surrounded by peaceful forests and springs. When you have a glance at the out side of the villa street, there’s a view of white tower which holds the kitchen, chemneys, water tank, heaters and a horizontal ruler comes up as the roof garden.

The level between the street and the villa is intermediate, where cars can be parked. This level takes up to the roof garden with barbeque, where guests can chill and eat, or through a little tunnel leading at the courtyard outside from the living room.

This is a party house with glass sliding doors allowing a vast view which meets the dazzling distant outlook and opening to the courtyards. Wooden sliding doors are designed for the bedrooms in case to darken its interior.

The house has a wonderful pool, where guests can dive during the hot summer vacation.

The construction of the pool and its solarium holds underneath a pool table room, a storage and the pool equipment, which opens up to the third plateau.
