Miami SkyLift

looks like a giant Ping-Pong ball come to rest in Bayfront Park. The ride open in December of 2007.

This unique amusement ride is the perfect way for young and old to experience Miami. It’s 400 feet every 15 minutes and can accommodate up to 30 passengers at a time. For just $17 per adult and $9.50 per kid from age three to nine, you can glide 400 feet into the air and get a bird’s-eye view.

It’s hard to have thought the Bayfront Park fountain would serve as a launching pad for such a ride.

Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium
is located in the Grant Park Museum Complex at Lake Shore Drive. Shedd is home to thousands of invertebrates, fishes, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals.

Aquarium has added several permanent exhibits to the main aquarium, effectively doubling its size and is now one of the premier aquariums in the country. The aquarium contains over 25,000 fish, representing more than 700 species from all parts of the world.

San Francisco Museum of Modern Art

At 225,000 square feet, the Sfmoma is one of the largest North American buildings devoted to modern art. The museum opened in 1935 under founding director Dr. Grace Morley as the San Francisco Museum of Art, solely to 20th-century contemporary art.

The steel frame is covered with textured and patterned brickwork, one of Botta’s tradmarks. The five-story tower in the rear is made up of galleries and offices. The  Museum Store offers the West Coast’s finest selection of modern and contemporary art books, as well as innovative design objects and furniture.

Coral Castle in Miami

The Coral Castle
is probably the strangest attraction in Florida. The Coral Castle originally called ‘Rock Gate Park’, was built by Edward Leedskalnin, working alone and by himself. The Coral Castle is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

Coral Castle is a stone structure, comprises numerous megalithic stones ( limestone, formed from coral ), each weighing several tons. The Castle walls and gates surround the carvings of furniture, creating a sort of “roofless” castle.

Many of the features of the castle are notable, including a table with a flower planted in the middle.

A series of concentric coral circles is said to represent the solar system.

Vizcaya museum and gardens

The garden was made during the First World War, purchased in Italy or copied from Italian gardens. It is considered one of the biggest must-see attractions for visitors to Miami. Vizvaya museum is open to the public 364 days each year.

Vizcaya was built in 1916 by James Deering, a vice president of International Harvester. The property was once much larger.

Gator Park Airboat Tours

is located at 24050 SW 8th Street Miami, Florida 33194. Gator Park is located within the much larger area known as the “Everglades National Park”. Tickets cost $21, and include entrance to the park, the air-boat tour, and a wildlife show.

Located on Boston’s waterfront, the New England Aquarium is home to penguins, seals, sea lions, and fish of all stripes. With more than 600 species of aquatic animals and fish and over 20,000 specimens, the New England Aquarium can  to interest everyone.

Banjul, The Gambia

The Gambia is the fourth most densely populated country in West Africa, with around 1.2 million people population. Banjul is the capital and chief port of The Gambia, which is located where the Gambia River enters the Atlantic Ocean. Also Banjul connected the country with Senegal by a ferry across the river and holds the country’s economic center including the Central Bank of Gambia.

Banjul’s principal export is peanut processing but also palm wood and oil, and skins and hides are shipped. The brewing and tourism also are available. The Gambia charms its guests with sunny beaches and natural reserves where they cans watch monkeys, birds, hippos and hyenas in the wild. The major resorts are Bakau, Fajara, Kotu, and Kololi.

The attractions in the Banjul are the Albert Market – one numerous bustling market, Banjul Court House, the Gambian National Museum and several major mosques. Albert Market is a great place to start leisurely walking and shopping for exotic local crafts, batiks, silver jewelers clothes, shoes and etc.

The major attraction in Banjul is Arch 22, which is the most impressive building in The Gambia. The Arch was built to commemorate the 22 July 1994 it’s a historical monument that also houses a modest textile museum. Standing high at 35m it affords spectacular views over the city and coastal areas.

Hua Hin – the unforgettable holiday experience

Hua Hin (Huahin) is a tourist city and famous beach resort in Thailand, located 281 kilometers south of Bangkok. Hua Hin is the oldest beach resort of Thailand.
If you enjoy walks through the quiet winding streets of a friendly coastal village, sampling delicious seafood in restaurants overlooking the brightly lit fishing boats on the Gulf of Thailand or a round of golf on one of the several international standard links, Hua Hin could very well be what you’re looking for.

In Hua Hin you can visit the Majestic Creek Country Club and Beach Resort – The inland road to the club passes through rural Thailand with small farms producing pineapples, sugarcane, bananas and mangoes. The journey is interesting, and it becomes more scenic as the road approaches to the golf resort, which lies beneath the natural-lying mountains to the west of Hua Hin.
