Disney Magic & Disney Wonder, are the first two Disney-owned cruise ships, delivered 1998 and 1999 respectively. They were built by Fincantieri in Italy, and are 294 metres long (slightly longer than the QE2 – only the Norway is longer amongst operating cruise ships). They are 85000 gross tons, and carry 1750 passengers (lower berths only – 2400 maximum). Five Sulzer diesels, 57663 kW total, drive them at 24 knots. The crew numbers 915.
The Disney Magic and her sister ship, the Disney Wonder (front) offer guests an exciting new way to vacation with Disney.
