Utter Inn – a sleeping with the fishes

Yes, that’s right, you sleep underwater! Utter Inn is an art project by Mikael Genberg – a local artist and sculptor which offers an underwater accommodation for the public. This floating underwater hotel in Stockholm, Sweden is sets 1km out to the middle of a Lake Malaren. It lies 3m below the surface of Lake Malaren and contains only twin beds and a table.

The whole atmosphere of this wonderful island is redolent of the Viking Age - ruins and runestones, cairns, medieval churches, windmills and trolls. According to some historians the original home of the Goths, Gotland lies 90 km east of the mainland and is Sweden’s largest island, covering in area of 3,140 sq km. The Pearl of Oresund is a tiny dot in the spirit between Sweden and Denmark, 8 km off the Danish coast and just 4.3 km from Sweden. It is only 7.5 sq km, a shelf that slopes downward south to north from its highest point at 45 m just 5 m above sea level. Liseberg Amusement Park

Liseberg is an amusement park located in Gothenburg, Sweden. The park opened in 1923 and is the largest among counterparts located in the Nordic countries, attracting over 3 million visitors annually. One of the most popular attractions is the wooden roller coaster Balder, voted twice as Best Wooden Tracked Roller Coaster in the world in a major international poll. The park itself has also been chosen as one of the top ten amusement parks in the world (2005) by Forbes Magazine.
