The oldest Anglican house of worship

Saint Andrew’s Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral in Island, the region’s largest cathedral. It is situated nigh Municipality Writer MRT Commercialism. Organized by Colonel Ronald MacPherson in 1856, it replaced the novel faith which was pillaged by two lightning strikes in 1845 and 1849.

Belitung is an island in South East Asia, a part of Nation archipelago situated on the east coast of Sumatra, Indonesia in the Java Sea. It was in the possession of the British from 1812 until the British ceded control of the island to the Dutch in the Anglo-Dutch Treaty of 1824. On November 21st, 2000, Belitung Island has been approved to become the 31st province of Indonesia separated from South Sumatra.

Located in Tanjong Pagar Singapore District, the Pinnacle@Duxton is a 2.5 hectare unique residential complex housing a total of 1,848 units in 7 towering blocks. Soaring at 156m and consists of seven connected tower each is 50-storeys in height, this is the tallest public housing project in Singapore as of the year 2010.

A bold addition to the Leeds cityscape

Designed by Sterling Prize-winning architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios LLP, this rusty-looking tower block is the Broadcasting Place located in Leeds, United Kingdom. Conceived as a public partnership for property group Downing and Leeds Metropolitan University, it is a landmark building rising to 23-storeys. It is an education & mixed-use development that provides approximately 110,000 sq ft of new offices and teaching spaces together with 240 student residences.

The national art collection of Singapore


Housed in a 19th century beautifully restored mission school building, the Singapore Art Museum possesses the largest collection of 20th century Singaporean and Southeast Asian modern and contemporary art. Officially opened in 1996, SAM is the only public institution in the world dedicated to the collection and development of Southeast Asian contemporary art.

Cultural Paradise In Singapore

ON a wonderful Saturday evening last summer in the Dhoby Ghaut neighborhood of Singapore,  a few hundred people — residents and in-the-know tourists — stood or sat in rows of plastic chairs taking swigs of Tiger Beer retrieved from an ice-filled inflatable kid’s pool. The crowd had assembled to see 10 local artists — photographers, a painter, a fashion designer, a filmmaker — present their work, with a white wall standing in for a projector screen. The biannual gathering, named Rojak for the inventive Singaporean-Malaysian salad, is one aspect of a recent effort to raise Singapore’s cultural profile.

The most striking butterflies

Butterflies are among the most fascinating and beautiful animals; even people who care not for insects in general usually have an affection for these winged wonders. Scientist name: Diaethria species. This is one of most exotic butterflies that are considered natural treasures of the sub-tropical Amazon rainforest. The Diaethria species are known as the 88 butterfly because many have the number 88 on their underside wings. A member of the Callicorini family, the Diaethria genus is the third most diverse genus.

Wanderlust Hotel, Singapore
