Located in Perugia – a town known more for its plethora of old churches that its modern-retro architecture, only 200 km north of Rome, Italy, the Perugian library takes the shape of a large disc presents itself as a foreign object. Its form and use of color, its transparency during the daytime, and the light it emits at night create a new landscape. You should visit this library at night, when the bright round shape of the library building looks other-worldly.
