1. Rungrado May Day Stadium
Situated in Pyongyang, North Korea this monumental stadium contains an incredible 150,000 people. Opened on May 1, 1989 in honor of Labor Day, hence his name – Rungrado May Day. Its shape resembles a blooming flower and has 16 arches arranged in a circle. The stadium can seat 150,000 which is the largest stadium capacity in the world.

The two Manitau Islands in Lake Michigan were once settled, but are now uninhabited. This doesn’t mean they are abandoned, as both are part of the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore.
