A bullring is an arena where bullfighting is performed. Bullrings are often associated with Spain, but they can also be found in neighboring countries and the New World.
Bullrings are often historic and culturally significant centers that bear many structural similarities to the Roman amphitheater. The most famous bullrings in the world are
Plaza de toros de Mexico in Mexico and
Plaza de toros Monumental de Valencia in Valencia, Venezuela. The main bullrings are usually found in Spain, southern France and Portugal, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, and Peru.

Seventy kilometers from the city of Loja in the mountains of southern
Ecuador is the town of
El Cisne, the site of a much venerated
Marian shrine. The
basilica of El Cisne was built in 1742 and modeled after a similar basilica in Harlungenberg, Germany. In 1594, the inhabitants of the El Cisne region had desired their own religious relic, similar to the
Virgin of Guadalupe in Mexico City.

The ancient city of Teotihuacan is the most visited of Mexico’s archaeological sites and a must-see if you’re in Mexico City. The site is impressive for its scale, both in the size of the
Pyramid of the Sun (the third largest pyramid in the world) and the majesty of the
Calle de los Muertos (Street of the Dead) – originally 4km long and flanked by temples, palaces and platforms. Look for amazingly well preserved murals in the
Palace of the Jaguars or the
Palace of the Quetzal-butterfly and bold sculptures in the
Temple of Quetzalcoatl.Teotihuacan ( which acually means
“place of those who have the road of the gods”) was, at its height in the first half of the 1st millennium CE (Common Era), the largest city in the Americas. The name Teotihuacan is also used to refer to the civilization that this city was the center of, which at its greatest extent included much of central Mexico. Its influence spread throughout Mesoamerica; evidence of Teotihuacano presence, if not outright political and economic control, can be seen at numerous sites in Veracruz and the Maya region.
The city was located in what is now the San Juan Teotihuacan municipality in the State of Mexico, Mexico, approximately 40 km (about 25 miles) northeast of Mexico City.

Set around a gracefully curving bay, relatively free from smog and Byzantine freeways, sits the beautiful city of San Diego. Although it was the site of the first mission in California, the city only really took off with the arrival of the Santa Fe Railroad in the 1880s, and in terms of trade and significance it has long been in the shadow of Los Angeles. Even in the shadow of Los Angeles, San Diego tourism has something for everyone. Plan out your next trip with one of the many San Diego Vacation Packages or create your own vacation.
With all that San Diego has to offer, your next San Diego Vacation will be filled with many memories. For the art lovers, San Diego, features Balboa Park. Get the feeling of an “old Spanish city.†You’ll find various architecture styles of Spanish Colonial Renaissance and Gothic & Moorish.

The Caribbean harbors a jewel in the Island of Cuba. The tropical Island extends 750 miles (roughly the size of Pennsylvania) and is a beautiful mix of mountain ranges and plains. There are over 200 bays and 289 sun drenched beaches to explore. The main ports are located in the provinces of Cienfuegos, Havana, Manzanillo, Mariel, Matanzas, Nuevitas and Santiago de Cuba.
Cuba has no plants or animals that are lethal to humans (Yes, this includes poisonous snakes!) The mountain ranges include the Sierra Maestra to the East, the Cordillera de los Organos to the West, and the Sierra del Escambray in the central region.
