Skt Petri Hotel, Copenhagen Denmark

The central point of Berlin

The Victory Column (Germany) is a famous sight of Berlin. The Victory column (Siegessule) is next to Brandenburg Gate, German Parliament, Television Tower and Berlin Cathedral one of the most significant monuments in Berlin. It was originally located at the Knigsplatz (present-day Platz der Republik), the square in front of the Reichstag. The Victory Column stands at 61.5m high and provides excellent views of Berlin from the center of Tiergarten at the junction of five main roads. It is huge and spectacular.

This is perhaps the only museum in the world where you can go to learn about the sex lives of such famous people as Freud, Nietzsche, and Duke Ellington. Denmark was the first country in the world to legalize pornography. Museum Erotica was founded by Ole Ege, a well-known Danish photographer of nudes, in 1992 and opened in May 1994 and is close to having entertained one million guests, half of them women. All age groups are represented, from teenagers to 80-year old. In addition to providing a glimpse into the sex lives of the famous, the exhibits present a survey of erotica around the world as well as through the ages. The range of Museum Erotica spans from erotic paintings to postcards, photos, films, magazines, sculptures, sex-toys and much, much more.
