The Brooklyn Museum is a famous landmark in the New York area that brings more than 450,000 visitors annually to see its acclaimed artistic exhibitions and permanent collections. Until January 2012, the museum hosting “reOrder” created by Situ Studio. This is an architectural installation as the initial step in the transformation of the museum’s first floor.

Situated in the southernmost part of Brooklyn, just a stone’s throw away from Manhattan, Coney Island is a year-round entertainment destination full of fun things to do. Opened to the public in distant 1829, the Island became a favorite vacation spot for the rich and famous. The island is possibly best known as the site of amusement parks and a major resort that reached their peak during the first half of the 20th century. With nearly 3 miles of sandy beaches, Coney Island offers an ideal summer respite from the hectic and steamy city.

The exhibit “Ai Weiwei: New York Photographs 1983-1993″ opened yesterday at the Asia Society Museum. It features 227 photographs taken by Ai Weiwei capturing the history, culture, and atmosphere of New York City from his unique perspective. The Chinese artist-activist Ai Weiwei is widely known for using his blog to speak out against the injustices of the Chinese government. “He is one of the most provocative and influential conceptual artists from China today, and in recent years he has become an increasingly iconic figure”, says Asia Society Museum Director Melissa Chiu.

Juscelino Kubitschek Bridge, Brazil
Asymmetric and modernistic bridge extends over Lake Paranoia, Brasilia. The design of the bridge consists of three 61 meter asymmetric arches and steel cables supporting structure and was created by Brazilian architect Alexandre Chan, from Rio de Janeiro. The entire structure has a total length of 1,200 m. Opened on December 15, 2002 it was completed at a cost of US$56.8 million. Named after a beloved former president Zhuselino Kubichek de Oliveira, the scenic view of and from the bridge makes for an amazing experience.

Street art become very powerful platform for reaching the public, and frequent themes include adbusting, subvertising and other culture jamming, the abolishment of private property and reclaiming the streets. New York City, Brooklyn: While many street artists have migrated in recent years from Williamsburg to less-trammeled Brooklyn neighborhoods (Bushwick is the latest open-air gallery), swaths of art still adorn the streets and alleys of “Billyburg.” Prime viewing areas include North 6th Street (around Berry Street and Wythe Avenue), Ainslie Street (just east of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway), and Roebling Street—where, as of this writing, a towering radio-controlled giraffe by artist Nick Walker decorates a wall just south of Metropolitan Avenue.

Sze Tsung Leong (American and British, born Mexico City 1970) is an artist based in New York. His work includes the series Cities, a detailed depiction of urban formations throughout the globe, from medieval towns to recent constructions, that together form a picture of the world at this particular moment in time at the beginning of the twenty-first century; Horizons, an international collection of images of natural terrains and urban landscapes that considers the relationships between far and near, foreign and familiar; and History Images, which examines the erasure of history and the reshaping of society through the built environment.

It is now the only non-profit cooperative photography gallery in New York City.Part of its community are more than 110 members. The Brooklyn Museum located in New York is one of the oldest and largest art museums in the USA.The collections you could see are remarcable and diverse from ancient Egyptian masterpieces to contemporary art.There are represented a wide range of cultures and ages.
