 The Haymarket Hotel is situated on a small street of Haymarket, in the heart of London, next to the Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery. The Haymarket is an intimate, boutique hotel and is a member of design hotels. The hotel’s unique design was designed by John Nash, the architect who developed most of Regency London, including Buckingham Palace and others.

Grand Hotel d’Angkor is in eight kilometres from the famed Angkor Wat in Cambodia. The hotel is within five minutes drive of the town and 8 km from Siem Reap International Airport. The hotel was housed in 1932 and reopened in 1997 surrounded by beautiful landscaped garden. The place has colonial-style with cambodian furniture and decor, extremely tasteful.

The Conservatory of Flowers, built in 1878, is a gorgeous (and restored in 2003) example of the beautiful greenhouses that were constructed during the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries to display exotic plants and flowers. This one is built in a dramatic Victorian style, and is one of the architectural highlights of the golden gate park. Golden Gate Park is over 3 miles long & 9 blocks wide, 1017 acres.

Chinese New Year is a perhaps the most elaborate, colorful, and important holiday in
China. Chinese New Year is the biggest holiday celebrated among Chinese people –
Koreans, Vietnamese, Mongolians, The Philippines, Thailands. Chinese New Year starts with the New Moon on the first day of the new year and ends on the full moon 15 days later. In China, people may take weeks of holiday from work to prepare for and celebrate the New Year. The 15th day of the new year is called the Lantern Festival, which is celebrated at night with lantern displays and children carrying lanterns in a parade. New Year’s Day are celebrated as a family affair, a time of reunion and thanksgiving. Chinese New Year was on 18th February 2007. It will be the Year of the Pig. If you were born in 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983 or 1995 – you were born under the sign of the pig. The Chinese believe a child born this year in The Year of the Golden Pig will be blessed with a carefree, wealthy and loving life!
