Ischia is the largest of the islands in the Bay of Naples, and many people consider it to be more beautiful even than Capri to its southeast. Ischia is a volcanic island 10 km long and 7 km wide that rises to 788 m at Monte Epomeo, which divides the island into two zones. The south and the west takes the brunt of hot dry winds from Africa, and cacti, agave and palms thrive in the sub-tropical landscape. In the northern shadow of Monte Epomeo, chestnuts flourish among the typical Mediterranean trees like holm oak, cypress, cork, almond and olives. Citrus groves scent the whole island. Despite of its high population and million of tourists, Ischia still has dozen of deserted beaches and coves for chillin’.

One, one hundred, one thousand cities in the same space, in the enchanting and unmistakable space of the most famous Gulf in the world: Naples, that reveals, starting from its name, its Greek origins. It is homeland of kings, artists and great figures in history, but even of characters that you can only meet in the streets and lanes of this town. who doesn’t know pizza, spaghetti and mandolin? In fact, the beauties of this enchanting land are renowned: from the archaeological finds to the handcraft shops. The visitor is fascinated by the cooking just as much as by the majesty of Mount Vesuvius or the Capri’s Stacks and by the Bourbon’s china from Capodimonte. The citizens say that you can identify a Neapolitan everywhere, because who is native of this land is a carrier, in his DNA, of all the typicality of an original and unequaled town. Tourists cannot be indifferent to the enigmatic fascination of the market, the fishing boats and the women on the balconies, as they achieve an inexplicable value in this town. The bracing and silvery air of Naples, rich in scents and perfumes mixed with the saltiness of the wonderful sea that laps on its shores, can remember that even the air itself, like Venus, was born between the clear waves of the Mediterranean.

A PARADISE CALLED CAPRI
In front of the Sorrento peninsula, Capri island is one of the most fascinating places in Italy. This cosmopolitan and society island was loved by Caesar Augustus and by Tiberius who spent there the last 10 years of his life, enriching it with luxurious villas. Divided into the two municipalities of Capri and Anacapri and with the typical houses in Marina Grande harbour, the island has mainly a hilly territory. The deep blue sky is furrowed by big erring gulls and watches over citrus cultivations and vineyards that are climbing up the slopes, rich in very rare varietes like the dwarf fan palm. The lapis-lazuli sea hides unbelievably beautiful grottoes, like the Blue Grotto that is famous all around the world. The Faraglioni (Monolithic rocks) are also typical: they are imposing and suggestive rocky massifs. Rich in boutiques and handicraft laboratories, Capri is famous for bergamont extracts – basic essence for perfumes and for a particularly tasty and refined cuisine. The Piazzetta (little square) is ideal meeting-place for VIPs and renowned people who over decades have elected this paradise as the capital for luxury tourism.
