It is an archipelago of 191 volcanic islands, intended with dramatic bays and fjords, covering an area of 16,130 sq km in the Barents Sea, almost entirely within the Arctic Circle. At the southern-most tip of Japan in the Pacific Ocean near the Tropic of Cancer lies the island of Hateruma, part of the Yaeyama Island group. This enchanting coral island is clothed in banyan trees, Indian almonds, bamboo orchids and colourful hibiscus. North of Rarotonga, the beautiful island of Aitutaki is the second most populous of the Cook Islands, a group of 15 lovely islands in the South Pacific. The coral atoll boasts low rolling hills, banana plantation and coconut groves. This is an archetypal desert island and a wonderful place to unwind, with palm-fringed white sandy beaches, magnificent clear sea and a relaxed place of life. Aitutaki has a main island and a string of small islets (featuring Mangere, Akaiami, and Tekopua), all circled by a barrier reef, creating the breathtaking turquoise lagoon that makes it such a perfect place for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving. Located near Olympic Park, Montreal‘s huge botanical garden contains over 20,000 different plant species in 31 specialized gardens. The botanical Alpine garden is located at  Sherbrooke Street East ,at the corner of Pie-IX and Sherbrooke Streets, in Maisonneuve Park.  It attracts over 1 million visitors each year-and even in the wintertime.

The “Red Lizard train” – passenger train of the 19th century, runs through the red and pink rocks, split by canyons of the Sahara Atlas mountains, Tunisia. This is one of the most spectacular train trips one can take. The scenery is wonderful. This old fashioned train travels through stony desert landscapes, mountains tunnels, steel bridges, water springs, deep gorges, but also stops at green oases.
