Fogo Island is the largest islands of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It lies off the northeast coast of Newfoundland, northwest of Musgrave Harbour across Hamilton Sound, just east of Change Islands. The island is about 25 km long and 14 km wide. The island was originally inhabited by the Beothuks during the summer months and consists of eleven different communities with a total population of approximately 3000 people.

Tlemcen is Algerian town located in the nortwest part of the country and is the capital of the province of the same name. The city is also renowned for its olive plantations and vineyards. For the cosmopolitan traveler Tlemcen has a lot to offer as it has developed into an art and culture centre with a unique and distinctive style. This is mainly due to the fact that Tlemcen has a blend of Arab, Berber, Andalusia and French cultures that lends itself to textiles and handicrafts.

Olympic National Park is located in the U.S. state of Washington. The park consists of three basic regions: the Pacific coastline, the Olympic Mountains, and the lush rainforest. The coastal part of the park is a rugged, sandy beach along with a strip of adjacent forest. The Hoh River has the Hoh people and at the town of La Push. Part of this long beach is covered with sand, whereas others parts with heavy rock and very large boulders. Bushy overgrowth, slippery footing, tides and misty rain forest weather all hinder foot travel.

Colonia del Sacramento, in
Uruguay is a way back in the past. For years it operated as a contraband port, evading the strictures imposed on trade by the Spanish crown. Today it is a resort city, a port, and the trade center for a rich agricultural region. The whole place has old houses and cobblestoned streets with historic portion of Colonia, reminiscent of old Lisbon. Winding streets and colorful houses are laid out in a pattern different from Spanish colonial cities, and a delight to explore.

Biopeba is a lushy island off the coast of Brazil with balmy weather, transparent waters, mangroves, and plenty of peace and quiet on its deserted beaches. Boipeba and Tinhare Island formed the APA (Environment Protection Area) Ilhas de Tinhare/Boipeba. Boipeba has preserved more of its original traits than Tinhare, which is renowned tourist destination with a major post-Carnival event – Ressaca.

Situated along the Garden Route at the Tsitsikamma Forest Village, South Africa, Bloukrans Bridge is the highest bridge in Africa and the third highest in the world. Completed in 1984, the Bloukrans Bridge towers 216 m above the river. It is also the highest Bungee Jump bridge in the world.

Constructed between 1959 and 1963, it was at one time the highest bridge in Europe.
