Evolver is a spectacular artifact, interrelated with the panorama environment in Zermatt. The structure sits next to the lake Stelli, at an attitude of 2,536 m. It was created by a team of 2nd year students from the university in Switzerland. 

Evolver has 24 rotating frames, which support an enclosed space, where visitors are encouraged to enter. When you processes through the structure, a 720 degrees movement is unraveling along a transformed panorama. The transformation is obvious, only while inside a person is moving along, a selective string of openings only to be caught peeling off a sequence of unexpected views from the original landscape.

Move unsteadily from side to side, a distant horizon ground and sky have been mixed into an orbiting panorama by a journey that has already culminated to where it started. A loophole on the skyline.

During the Zermatt Festival in September ‘09, Evolver hosted the sound project Deviation: Alpaufzug. Creating a new electronic device inspired by the legendary Swiss Alphorn, the Deviation collective from Lausanne installed 6 sound sources. Deviation plays improvised music on devices every time different, created for the occasion, on the basis of sound equipment in close connection with the place or context of the performance.

Hang gliding is an air sport in which a pilot flies a light and un-motorized foot-launchable aircraft called a hang glider. It allows you to own an aircraft that doesn’t require an expensive hangar or special pilot license. ?his is a very extreme experience. Hang gliding is one of the most exciting solutions for most people. You will have the unique sensation of flying, surrounded by beautiful mountains and beaches.

The training needed to get you flying solo is minimal. The basic techniques of hang gliding – launching, turning, and landing – are fairly easy to learn. The Health and Safety Executive says you have a one in 116,000 chance of dying during a hang-gliding flight. To put it in perspective, that’s roughly twice as dangerous as scuba diving.

There are plenty of spots to hang glide located all over the world. Utah is one of the places in the United States that features some of the best places to hang glide. For magnificent natural beauty nothing beats the Swiss Alps. New Zealand and Britain have their own associations, as do many other countries.

Nearly six hundreds of naked people formed a “living sculpture” on Aletsch glacier before few of years against a global warming. Aletsch is the longest glacier in Europe, with a length of 23 km and it’s designated a UNESCO world heritage site. It is located at an altitude of 2,200 m in one of the highest stone pine forests in Europe. But Aletsch Glacier retreated 115 meters in a single year.

Over the last 150 years, the glaciers have reduced in size by approximately one third of their surface and half of their mass. The sciences said that most Swiss glaciers will disappear by 2080 if global warming continues at its current pace.

The people pose for U.S. photographer Spencer Tunick as part of a publicity campaign to expose the impact of climate change. “The melting of the glaciers is an indisputable sign of global climate change,” said the environmental group Greenpeace, which organized the event.

On the west side of Zurich (also known as Kries 4), the industry is there and so its art. Everything is there. There are new apartments, lofts and cinemas in old factories. Schiffbau is a lovely theater with a good restaurant called LaSalle. It’s an aesthetic glass box.

Swiss people, in general plan the future too much, so they are not really alive. They know exactly what they will do at 60. and this is not sexy and attractive for me. There you can have the sexiness. They just want to do the best. You will see this in the benches or the design of bins- it’s too much. It’s too material.

The famed health spa/hotel has been designed in 1899 by Jacques Gros and has a perfect city location overlooking Lake Zurich and the Alps. The old hotel has been renewed as a modern luxury hotel by a famous team of professionals — architecture by London’s Foster and Partners, interior design by United Designers, also of London, and the spa concept by spa-industry visionary, Arizona-based Sylvia Sepielli.
