Its borders are generally defined as being the Tatras Mountains to the north, the Lovoca Mountains to the east, and the Slovenske Rudohorie Mountains to the south. It is a rolling hilly place filled with beautiful walking routes that take you along step, forest-clad canyons, dotted with waterfalls and fast-flowing steams. Spis‘s attractions are historic as well as natural. Strbske Pleso, Slovakia

Situated at 1355 m above sea level, Strbske Pleso with its large mountain lake is a favorite ski, tourist, and health resort in Slovakia. It is a good starting point for a host of hiking excursions and day-trips in the mountains including to Krivan and Rysy. Activities: Cross-country skiing, Ski-jumping.

In the 1990â€™s Zorbing is originated in New Zealand as a new adventure challenge. The sport ride is a totally bizarreÂ but also it’sÂ fun experience. It can be enjoyed by people of all ages who donâ€™t mind being strapped inside an enormous clear plastic ball.

The Zorb is a gigantic polythene ball standing about three metres in height, which contains inner capsule that is suspended into position by thousand nylon strands of varying colours. There are two choices of ride. Â You can choose between a harness or hydro ride. The hydro ride is similar to sitting inside a washing machine, as you slither down the hill. Bring a dry set of clothes if you choose this option! The harness is more extreme, one of you then does giant forward rolls down the hill, the other does backward rolls. Â Zorbing is currently practiced in United Kingdom, Ireland, Sweden, New Zealand, Estonia, Australiaâ€™s Gold Coast, Canada, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Japan, India, Thailand and Slovenia. Prices vary for different packages, but generally is about $40 a trip.
