In the mid-1990s the park installed a canopy walkway that takes the daring across seven bridges swaying precariously 200 m in the air. It’s one of Ghana’s most popular tourist attractions. Spectacular views along with a collection of some of the world’s endangered plant and animal species make Kakum National Park a one-of-a-kind ecological reserve. This national park is definitely a hiker’s paradise….

There is a visitor center which has an educational exhibit, shops, cafe and a campground, providing for visitors opportunity to enjoy a fine meal and refreshing drinks of local fresh produce.
