The Bata  Shoe Museum is a museum in downtown Toronto, Canada that collects, researches, preserves, and exhibits footwear from around the mankind. The Museum is rightish at the southwesterly crossing of Bloor Street Western and St. George Street. The owner, Sonja Bata, has been collecting shoes since the 1940′s. Floating House, Ontario, Canada

The house is part of a series of simple structures used as holiday homes on a remote island which is situated 4 hours north of  Toronto and is accessed solely by boat. A pedestrian walkway links the houses together and creates a path across this natural landform.the design of the house creates a link between both sides of the island across the water, and is protected from changes in water levels generated by passing boats.
