Taktshang, also called the
Tiger’s Nest monastery is in the middle of the Bhutanese mountains, several hours outside of Paro (the only city with an airport).
Taktshang is the most famous of monasteries in
Bhutan. It hangs on a cliff at 3,120 metres (10,200 feet), some 700 meters (2,300 feet) above the bottom of Paro valley.

Hoover Dam, located on the Colorado River, on the borders of Nevada and Arizona, has a length of 1,244 feet and a height of 726 feet. Hoover Dam was for many years the largest dam in the world. It is now one of the most interesting attractions in the west and a major tourist attraction. Hoover Dam is 30 miles from Las Vegas. It is a popular day trip. Close to 1,000,000 visitors a year take the tour and millions more drive across the dam.
