Anyway for those seeking something more intimate, the indie boutiques on Haji Lane are far from the roaming mall rats. Beautiful boutiques showcase rising Singaporean designers, as well as other designers from Asia and beyond, lining a narrow, backstreet of the tranquil Kampong Glam area – also  known as the Arab district.

The MAS is an impressive building with a museum, among other things. Because it is also the visible storage, the museum square with Luc Tuymans’ mosaic, the boulevard, the rooftop panorama, etc. The MAS is a total experience. Nowdays, Antwerp has its own iconic piece of museum architecture and it’s poised to make the medieval Flemish town a global destination. The Museum aan de Stroom opened last weekend to an estimated 100,000 visitors, including the Belgian royal family.

Drakensberg Mountains spread onto immense valleys into which you descend on a curvaceous road. Endless folded hills stretch in a swathe of green velvet, while in other places the sandstone rocks glow gold in evening light. In contrast, sharp mountain peaks pierce the dense blue sky – sometimes with a cap of snow. There are several parks and reserves in and around the Drakensberg Mountains, some private and others administered by KZN Wildlife and National Park’s offices.

Hotel Villa Cipriani Asolo

Hotel Villa Cipriani was built in the Palladian era by an unknown architect. The villa is located in Asolo, Italy and the first thing I can say about the Villa is that dates back to 1889, when the english poet, Robert Browning, already an old man, acquaried it. After his death, his son Robert Weidemann Barret Browning, who settled permanitely in Asolo, inherited the Villa. In 1902 he sold it to an engeener, Mr. Zenarro who maintained very well the Villa and made it a hotel. The hotel started to offer a tranquil yet sophisticated backdrop for a relaxing stay. Its renowed restaurant propose creative cuisine: flavor from the sea and the hunt and fresh garden produce. Villa Cipriani became and still is a veritable feast for the senses.
