Fjærland is a village in the municipality of Sogndal, along the Fjærlandsfjord – the longest fjord in Norway. Known as a book town, it is located about 31 km northwest of the municipal center of Sogndalsfjora. There are book shops situated in old cow sheds and pigpens.
