Prestige and pleasure to the guests

Warm, stylish and nostalgic, Il Salviatino is an ideal place to relax. Set on a hill in the Poggio Gherardo area, this brand-new, ultra luxurious hotel situated in the historical district of Florence. Offering panoramic views of Florence’s historic centre, Il Salviatino is an enchanting 14th Century villa which has been lovingly restored over the years.  In 2010, after two years of renovations that revealed long-lost frescoes on the ceilings and hidden pathways twisting through the gardens, Marcello Pigozzo re-opened the villa as a hotel.

Only a 10 minute drive from the city centre and close to Stadio Artemio Franchi, Laurentian Library and Old Palace, Il Salviatino was listed in the Condé Nast Traveller “Hot List”. There are 45 guestrooms exquisitely designed with Tuscan linens, original art, and timeless modern furnishings. Each room has an individual design, patios, LCD televisions, and high-definition televisions; rooms also include coffee/tea makers, bathrobes, and slippers. Some rooms offer a view of the garden or a view of the Cathedral.

Recreational amenities at Il Salviatino include a health club, a full-service spa, massage/treatment rooms, a spa tub and a fitness facility, ensuring a restful and rejuvenating stay. Other amenities include a library, a bar/lounge, and a coffee shop/café. The property also features a split-level pool and two restaurants serve modern versions of traditional Tuscan recipes and enjoy a unique panorama. If you are traveling for work and need to arrange a meeting, then this hotel has a meeting/conference room and business-related support including computer rentals and a fax machine.
