The tallest building in China

At 480 meters, Shanghai World Financial Center is the China’s tallest and the third-tallest in the world. It is a mixed use skyscraper which consists of offices, hotels, conference rooms, observation decks, and shopping malls on the ground floors. Located in Pudong, Shanghai, China, the skyscraper was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox.

A conceptual alternative design

A new 75-story tower designed by the architect Jean Nouvel for a site next to the Museum of Modern Art in Midtown New York, promises to be the most exhilarating addition to the skyline in a generation. The skyscraper initially was proposed to stand at the same height as the Empire State Building below its mast (381 m) and contain 73 floors. Each floor has 1,600 m2 starting with 3,700 m2 of space at the base.

City in the sky

The Shard, is a mixed-use skyscraper current under construction in Southwark, London. When it is completed, the Shard will become the tallest in the EU at 310m. Created by renowned architect Renzo Piano, the Shard is one of the most enigmatic buildings to adorn the London skyline in recent years. It will be complete in less than a year. The beautiful triangular shaped will stand 310 m tall and have 72 floors, plus 15 further radiator floors in the roof, making it the 45th tallest building in the world. Replacing Southwark Towers, a 24-storey office building constructed in 1976, the Shard London Bridge Quarter is set to be the new symbol for the world financial capital.

One of the four imperial cities in Morocco

Founded in the 11th century by the Almoravids as a military settlement, Meknes became a capital of Morocco under Sultan Moulay Ismail (1672–1727. Located 130 km from the capital Rabat and 60 km from Fes, Meknes has been called the Versailles of Morocco, but the grand scheme for a royal palace was never completed. Today the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The first contemporary art museum in Turkey


Located in the dynamic business district of Istanbul, Maslak, Proje4L was founded under the name of Istanbul Museum of Contemporary Art. This is a non-profit organisation established by Elgiz Family with a mission to support the development of contemporary art and artists in Turkey. Opened in 2005, Elgiz Museum of Contemporary Art is a private collection museum host the Sevda and Can Elgiz Collection consists of works of by influential Turkish and international artists.

State Tretyakov Gallery

This spectacular museum is is one of the largest museums in the world. Located in Moscow, it bears name of its founder – local merchant and textile manufacturer Pavel Tretyakov. The gallery’s history starts in 1856 when Pavel Tretyakov bought several works by Russian artists with the aim of creating a collection and became famous from the minute it was opened to the public in 1870.  The gallery displays Russian fine arts of X -XX centuries. Offering 62 rooms and 130,000 works icons, paintings, graphics and sculpture, State Tretyakov Gallery is considered as a must-see destination for all visitors to Moscow.

The largest aquarium in the world

The Radisson SAS Hotel, situated in the historical center of the Berlin – directly across from the Berlin Cathedral, impresses its guest with a enormous aquarium placed in the hotel’ lobby. Los Angeles area art fans

Set in a hilltop site in the Santa Monica Mountains, the Getty Center is a $1.3 billion center campus for cultural institutions overlooking the beautiful Los Angeles landscape and the Pacific Ocean. Created by the oil magnate J Paul Getty it started as the millionaire’s private collection. Opened to public in 1997, today the J. Paul Getty Museum attracts about 1.3 million visitors annually make it one of the most visited museums in the United States.
