Tuzla
At the east of Tuzla is Gebze country and Kocaeli city, at the west and the north Pendik country, at the south is the Marmara Sea. A coastal length is 13 km. With population of 174, 225 of people, Tuzla is the last point of Istanbul Asian side.
Once a Greek fishing village, in Tuzla there are seven churches and a mosque that belonging Ottoman sultan Ahmet I era. Tuzla is one of the best places to surf in Istanbul. Especially on weekends, is one of the favorite places for surfers. Many people come here for surfing and if they like they can swim and sunbath.
In terms of health and tourism extremely rich country of Tuzla is famous for its mineral springs. Tuzla thermal springs, covered by pine trees, is either a modern or a historical place that built at an area of 70 acres. You can find accommodations for travelers, covered thermal (hot) pools, gardens restaurants, cafes and more.
