Pazo do Castro
Pazo do Castro is a magnificent estate constructed in 17th century, now converted into a pleasant country hotel. Located in the tiny village of O Castro in eastern Galicia, Spain it offers the visitor a privileged glimpse into the rural lifestyle of the Spanish nobility.
There are 30 rooms decorated with historic authenticity without compromising contemporary comforts. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite television, generously bath (some with Jacuzzi), safes and mini bars. The hotel boasts a library, which is of special interest. The visitors may request the key to view its valuable collection containing volumes dating to the 16th century. Pazo do Castro also offers spa facilities complete with a Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, heated pool and aromatherapy. There are also opportunities for golf and tennis.
