Opened in February of 2009, the Bardessono is located in Napa Valley, California. The Bardessono is a luxury resort which is known as one of the greenest resorts in America. Built to the most rigorous standards in energy and environment, it a host of green building strategies including rammed earth walls, grey and black water treatment systems, and solar and geothermal energy.
The rooms are heated and cooled naturally by 940 solar panels that create 82 geothermal walls. Bathrooms are like oasis offering outdoor showers, soaking tubs for two and dual indoor show steam rooms.
The resort’s lounge offers a list of locally crafted beers and classic cocktails. At the restaurant you can taste the best of organic cuisine. All products in the restaurant are sourced primarily from local organic or sustainable producers. Wine country adventures, coking classes and private tasting trips are available.
