Ibere Camargo Museum
Located in Porto Alegre, this is this first building designed by Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza in Brazil. The building was honored by the Venice Architecture Biennale with the Golden Lion award in 2002.

The building is a big rectangular white concrete structure. It has a big central space enclose by circulations and exhibition spaces. The nine galleries surround a towering central atrium, with the ramps extending to the exterior as enclosed walkways cantilevered across the front facade. The museum preserves the collection of more than 4000 works by the master of Brazilian expressionism Ibere Camargo, who is considered to be one of Brazil’s most important artists of the 20th century.
