A Chair With a Twist
This felt chair is totaly sustainable and eco designed.Created by James van Vossel and Tom de Vrieze it is comprised only form one solid synthetic felt sheet and flax rope.
The felt is coiled and recoiled to form the base, seat, and back while the flax rope holds the form and provides a nice finishing touch. Aside from drilling holes there is no loss of material and the structure is completely self supporting. Felt follows function in this symmetric yet a symmetric design.
