Guu Izakaya Restaurant
Located near Ryerson University, this is one of the most popular Japanese pubs in Toronto. Designed by Dialogue 38, the restaurant’ interior is infused with energy. The small and intimate space is intended as an informal eatery. The restorant includes a sake bar, communal tables, a patio and an open kitchen.
The restaurant‘ menu includes edamame, oysters, udon noodles, Japanese-style hotpot and grilled beef tongue. The chef and staff joyously greet every single person entering. Since it’s opening, the reviews of the food and atmosphere have garnered accolades among the press and food fanatics alike.
