Viridian Artists Inc. is an art gallery, situated in New York City in the esteemed Chelsea region of Manhattan, home to some of New York’s finest and most honored art galleries. Viridian recently celebrated its 40th anniversary and is one of the city’s oldest artist-owned galleries.
Widely regarded as an outstanding showcase for emerging and established artists from the continental USA and around the world, Viridian supports a broad range of original and innovative work that meets the highest aesthetic standards.
Representing artists from New York to California, and from as far away as Japan, France and Korea, Viridian has an international flavor with New York overtones. Deborah Sudran’s paintings express a strong emotional response to nature represented through various patterns and colors. Each paintings moves in close to a particular image andisolates it from its surroundings so that a horizon line is not seen.
