Topia Eco Inn

Take off your shoes at the door of this modern “temple of nature and art” and let your body relax into an indulgence ambiance as you walk through clay walls to one of eight unique artist decorated rooms. The owners of this extravagant retreat are Nana Simopoulos and Caryn Heilman. Nana is composer, instrumentalist, vocalist and co-Founder of Topia Arts Center. On the other hand Caryn is the Artistic Director of LiquidBody media, movement and dance, a nonprofit performing arts and educational organization she founded years ago.

Topia Inn was a team effort that called upon the talents and good will of many. Rob Blanchard was the lead architectural designer who helped Caryn Heilman and Nana Simopoulos realize their dreams of building green. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms have Coyuchi linens made from 100% organic cotton as well an an array of complimentary natural and organic bath and body products. All the walls of the Inn on the first and second floors are finished with American Clay.

All rooms are exotic and spacious with vaulted ceiling and circular upper window, imports from Marrakesh, king organic beds, spa tub with chromatherapy, Moab Red, Tuscan Gold and Acacia porcelina clay finish on walls, tile floor, walk in closet and Toto Aquia dual-flush water-saving designer toilet. Besides the beautifully arranged eco-friendly rooms, there is  also a common room where breakfast is served, rooms with spa tubs that feature chromatherapy, rain showers with aromatherapy steam, massage, high speed wireless internet, an 11 mile bike path that passes by the back yard and many more…

In the vicinity of the Topia Inn, there are many cultural and natural attractions. Topia Inn is at the base of Mt Greylock which has hiking trails, lakes and waterfalls. The bike path which ends in Adams passes directly behind the inn. There are museums, restaurants and performance venues directly to the North and South of town.

Location: The Berkshires of Western Massachusetts, located just three hours from NY and Boston offers a wealth of natural and cultural attractions.
