Stamford Bridge
Stamford Bridge is the most central of the London football stadiums and is easily accessible by tube or bus from the centre of the city. Located Fulham, West London, Stamford Bridge is the home of Chelsea Football Club. Opened in 1877, the stadium was designed by Archibald Leitch and could hold 5000 spectators.

The stadium was used by the London Athletics Club until 1905, when new owner Gus Mears founded Chelsea Football Club to occupy the ground. Then it was renovated into a modern, all-seater stadium. Today, the capacity is 41,841, making it the eighth largest ground in the Premier League. There are 2 four star hotels, 3 restaurants, conference and banqueting facilities, underground car park, health club and business centre.
