Wasabi Restaurant
A few words about a great restaurant in Mumbai, India! It is called Wasabi by Morimoto, located upstairs from the Harbour Bar, from where guests are transported into a magic box of red lacquer that wraps from the staircase to the restaurant entrance.

Traditional Japanese motifs pervade, such as drifting cherry blossoms and crafted joinery on the walls. A large artwork by Sadanand Shirke defines the freestanding sushi counter and teppanyaki kitchen. The intimate private dining room for 8 centers on a sculptural round table lit by an oversize custom pendant dome of hammered metal. The restaurant’s menu offers a vast range of delectable vegetarian dishes besides the seafood selection flown in fresh from around the world – exotic Kumamoto oysters, shrimp tempura and sashimi at the Sushi Bar among others.
