The center of tourist activity in Cannes, France is the Boulevard de la Croisette. It stretches along the shore of the Mediterranean Sea and it is a favorite spot for locals and visitors. There is a magnificent view of the gulf and it’s a great place to people watch the ocean.  Full of upscale shopping opportunities, La Croisette is probably the most famous street for shopping in Cannes. You’ll find shops and boutiques selling all kinds of gifts, fashion and jewelry.

Many expensive shops, restaurants, and hotels line the road. The boulevard with palmtrees on it’s sides follows the coastline and there are only luxurious belle epoque hotels. Known for the Palais des Festivals et des Congres (where the Cannes Film Festival is held) it is an ideal place to people-watch.
